20th Anniversary Family Reunion

On Saturday, February 6th, 2010, over 200 people gathered and the St. Cloud Civic Center to celebrate 20 years of Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity serving Central Minnesota.
The afternoon was filled with games, crafts, food and fun for individuals of all ages! Many partner families, volunteers and community members came together and enjoyed delicous food supplied by Mexican Village, Icing Dreams, and Somali Cafe. There are also many tables with activities courtesey of Noodles and Company, ING Direct, Falcon National Bank, Thrivent Financial for Luterans, Kids Against Hunger, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts. These vendors and table sponsors really made for a great afternoon! Guests also enjoyed several puppet shows performed by the talented group from Joy Christian Center, as well as received elaborate balloon creations and face painting from Just 4 Laffs Entertainment. Party Time Inflatables was also there with a large inflatable obstacle course and sumo wrestling suits for everyone to enjoy.
Guests could also participate in a number of crafts such as making their own bookmark, assemling a fuze bead creation or making pipe cleaner people. Games like BINGO, bean bag toss, Twister and a duck pond kept everyone busy and resulted in kids leaving with bags full of goodies.
All in all it was a wonderful afternoon filled with fun activities, great company and shared celebration for the past 20 years of working to eliminate poverty housing in Central Minnesota.
