Seth Leyk (ING Direct)

Habitat for Humanity was always present in Seth's mind, but only when we got involved through St. Cloud Technical College and ING Direct, did he begin his volunteering career. His first site was a town home located across from Saint Cloud State University and his latest was doing painting at Donovan Lakes.

Seth came to us with a background in construction and shared stories of how he would work on roofs in the middle of January. "You can only work with shingles with bare hands," he told us. Now everyone that lives in Minnesota knows what kind of pain Seth was used to working with. Painting, on the other hand, is a piece of cake. However, after talking with Seth it doesn't seem to matter what task is at hand for him to accomplish, the goal is always the same, to help families that need a home.

We want to thank Seth and ING Direct for all their efforts because without people and businesses like them, Habitat and other non-profits would not exist. We hope Seth enjoyed his time on site and that he will be joining us again soon.
