Women Build 2010

Women Build is a Habitat for Humanity International program that encourages women to make a difference by building homes and communities. Women Build provides an environment in which women can feel comfortable learning construction skills they might not otherwise have the opportunity to learn.

Women Build 2010 is just around the corner! Kris Nelson is the Committee Chair- "Now more than ever is the time to step up and say 'Yes, I'm here to help!"' There are many ways to get involved from attending a fundraiser to becoming a sponsor.

This year's Women Build project will be on 10th Avenue on the east side of St. Cloud for the Angie Hansen Family. Angie is a disabled adult with fraternal twins. Click here to read her family story.

Individual Giving-Circle of Women: Individual women in our community are coming together to make a commitment to Women Build as Circle of Women members. They have each given at least $1,000 toward the construction of this year's Women Build Home as a testimony to their faith in the power of Women Build and Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity to transform lives and strengthen our community for men, women, and children alike. The Harlem Ambassadors are coming!

The Harlem Ambassadors are coming to town on September 18th, 5pm at St. Cloud State University to play in a FUNdraising basketball game for our affiliate!
